Mike and Mona DC Trip Recap

Wow! What a weekend we had with kids from around the East Coast. Students literally came from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania just to experience a weekend of elevation, motivation, and education. We hope you've heard great feedback from the students about this trip.

It is our goal that we continue to do trips like these to expose the youth, educate them further, and motivate them to go farther than their wildest dreams. Ephesians 3:20 says, God is able to do more than all we can even ask, think, or imagine. The question is... what are they imagining? What are they thinking? Let's encourage them to think GREATER and imagine BIGGER!

We took the kids to view the Martin Luther King Memorial, the National Museum of African-American History & Culture, and finished the evening with a dream book making session.

We took the kids on a motivational walk around the 4-H Center followed by group sessions on Being Proactive vs. Reactive (Middle School) and Beginning with the End in Mind (High School).
